More on Being 9 Months

We went to Sai's 9 month check up. He weighs 20 lbs 4 oz. He is 27.25 in long and has a 44 cm head. Doc called him a very physical baby, always on the go. He crawled all around the office, pulling up on whatever he could to walk along it. He babbled on and laughed at every poke, prod and measurement that was taken. He was loud and cheerful until he got a flu shot (isn't that flu done already?)

At Home
He crawls, pulls up, cruises, uses walkers, climbs stairs (yikes!)
Turns pages in books but will not sit on my lap for a story
Loves the kitties, and responds to the word kitty with glee
Can pick out a kitty or duck in a certain picture book
Cries mama
Throws things
Has recently discarded his afternoon nap :(
Loves peek-a-boo, the chase game and hand the toy back and forth game
Still loves his binkies and still looses them constantly
Sleeps 10 hours at night without needing anyone
Eats all baby food, and some table food
Sometimes cries while he is eating if it's something nasty like pureed meats
Responds to the word "no" as if I just said the most hilarious joke
Dances when he hears music
Loves paper, plastic and electrical cords...
Can be pacified with a cell phone
Is nearly impossible to diaper change
Enjoys pulling things out of boxes, bags and drawers
Doesn't enjoy when you take something out of his hands
The only actual baby toys he plays with are balls, cylinders, blocks and a toy piano
