Huntington Beach

Vacationing with a one year old is a lot more work than I expected. Above you can see the beginning of it all. The plane ride. The upset kid.
But if we didn't get out of this never ending blanket of gray clouds over our skies I think I might just about loose it.
We flew down to Southern California and stayed with Ravi. We did a lot of fun stuff and saw blue skies, unfortunately our lack of sleep had nothing to do with partying on Main street. Sai had a hard time adjusting to the new location and to put it plainly, preferred to not sleep.
Sai with his uncle before a bike ride along the beach boardwalk.
It was such a beautiful ride, which Sai slept through (once he stopped crying)...poor baby, he hated his helmet.

Silly face.

HB is quite the spot for sidewalk sales at the surf shops. Jacks: best 5 dollar t shirts you can buy.

Wow it's a good thing they have frisbee golf parks everywhere...

Sai absolutely loved the pool. He would find his water shoes and bring them to us signaling that he wanted to take a dip.

"Du Du Du Du Qua Qua Qua"

Sai met some of his second cousins. Annette here helped us out by entertaining the little guy.

We used his stroller for a high chair.

Sai managed to get a bloody lip as soon as we arrived.

Warm weather!
Bewildered expressions
He actually did really well at the beach, sticking close to us and not eating any sand.
Ravi and Katie helped make the trip great despite the difficulties we had. Thank you for having us!
