Some of the PEPS babies came over for a St. Patrick's green theme day. Look who's the only baby still using the binkie...
And played inside with "green" toys, true to the theme. Green toys as decided by yours truly (well maybe "yours truly" didn't decide, but for this definition) are toys made from recycled or natural materials, second hand toys or toys made from things laying around the house (ie. cleaned up garbage :)).
Examples were inspired by the toys we had at A Loving Space Preschool that I worked at years ago: bottles filled with oil and water, or filled with other interesting small, sparkely, weighted etc. objects, bricks made from milk cartons covered with granite contact paper, cardboard with sandpaper shapes/letters glued on, safe plastic mirrors, measuring cups and other kitchen items of different materials. One of the "green" toy ideas that Alma suggested was to use a sheet to pull baby around on the floor, what a fun ride!

Earlier that week, we went to another green party, for Avery's 1st birthday, born on St. Patrick's Day. Happy birthday!
