Playgroup Easter

The Vashon group had a little Easter egg hunt.

Sai in an obligatory holiday headband.

Above is the best I got for a group shot, missing 2 of the younger ones.
Erin managed to get the whole group.

Sai collected 3 eggs on his own, then one was stolen (I decided against stealing it back...). I did assist him in putting them in his basket, but he thoroughly enjoyed opening the eggs, tasting their round plastic goodness and tapping them on various things.
He does this frequently, using one object (a block, a binkie etc.) he knocks on materials around the house, a sort of Mohs hardness scale test if you will (that's a shout out to all my geology buddies out there..).

The big kids opened their loot at the table.


And the little kids ate their puffs on the floor.
It was a lovely event to be a part of.
