Sai's first birthday party was all about space. We had rocket ships, planets, space books, space food (star jello, star cupcakes, star shaped fruit, freeze dried food, pop rocks, milky way etc.) We also had earth food (curry, tandoori, salad, veggies...). They go together right?
The Tuckers made the most awesome rocket ship cake that I have ever seen.Kids played with the water table, bubbles, colored spacey pictures and wore martian antennae.
It was sunny just for the hours of the party, later it rained, yay!
This was the first time that enough people were at our house to have people down at the lower part of the lawn as well as up in the house.

I gave Sai the moon part of the cake for the birthday song and gobble. He really liked it!
Ahhh...some nice cold milk to wash it down.
From us Sai got two rocket themed gifts, a rocket tent

Of course I couldn't resist the cut out astronaut photo opportunity. If you got your picture taken as an astronaut and you would like to have it just let me know.
