You Can Always Go Downtown

This weekend we went downtown to the central library to see my cousin's documentary titled The New American Family: Defining Commitment in a Changing Society. It was a discussion inspired by referendum 71. Andriana with her co-producer tackled this controversial issue by exploring various viewpoints and built a professional, seamless film.
They had a big turnout in the auditorium and we, the Pallipamus, were in the film! She used several pictures from this very blog and some of our wedding photos. It was exciting to see our little family on the big screen...yeah, we're stars now...you can all practice your "I knew them when..." speeches.
I tried my best to keep Sai occupied with puffy snacks. Unfortunately, he could only take so much of a super quiet auditorium filled with people and their dangley earrings watching a screen and no place to walk to. So, he and Narayan exited to the kids reading room while I finished watching.
We came back to congratulate Andriana and visit with my aunt and uncle a bit.

We also took a quick tour of the library, getting dizzy (and lost) in the array of windows surrounding the crazy cool building.

Then we went to visit Auntie Emily and show her the new walking skills!
