OOps! We both forgot our anniversary this year, I guess things slip minds when living minute by minute, nap by nap and diaper change by diaper change. I looked back to figure out what we did on the actual day of our anniversary and happened to have photos (who am I kidding, I document every minute..). We had dinner on the deck with salad and zucchini from our garden, grapes, beans and steak from someone else's garden, quite a feast! Here is a family photo of that day.
This was the first day we brought Sai to the table with us in his Bumbo seat (or Bimbo seat as Narayan continues to call it). Sai was totally content being a part of the conversation. I like that we can have a family dinner together with a little baby.
It was really a wonderful dinner, and I don't know if it would have been any better if we had known it was a special day and planned to go out. One thing is for sure, it's a good thing we BOTH forgot the anniversary.
