I had the most wonderful day yesterday doing nothing but lounging around the house and holding my baby. I am so thankful that I get to stay home for the first year and be a part of all the changes that occur. It seems like every day he is a little stronger, reaches for things a little more, scoots around on the floor a little further and puts together new sounds that I haven't heard before. He changes so fast I almost don't recognize him on a new morning. I realized how much I really treasure this time. I heard some advice the other day, "Just love that baby as much as you can". That is my job.
