New Beaches

Well, we hit some good weather last weekend when we headed down the coast again. We decided to leave Thursday night and take 101 to Long Beach. Neither of us have been there but we always see the surf report on Magic Seaweed for this area. We toured the main beach (above) and it was indeed....long... No surfing here though.

We took advantage of the hotel pool and took Sai for a little swim.

The next day we went to Ecola park in Oregon where we surfed some very washed out waves. But the weather was so nice for late September we didn't complain.

I made my usual camp on the beach with blanket, baby tent and book. Sai is practicing sitting up, he can do it for about about 3 seconds.

For most of the trip we stayed in Cannon Beach, more nice weather and a sweet hotel deal on the beach. Stay at the Ecola Inn if you get a chance.

Friends came out to meet us and Sai got to "play" with his buddy Zan.

Amazingly, they were able to both take two hour naps at the same time, while Jen and I relaxed on the patio (Dads were in the water).

On the way home we went back to the Long Beach area to test out their local surf spot called Waikiki beach! It was beautiful. Can you see Narayan out there?
